Just wanted to share some thoughts and see if anyone else has insights about the area where this tragedy occurred. I’ve read that the neighborhood where Heather Dean's family lived in Columbus was quite different in the early 80s compared to now. From what I understand, Sullivant Avenue had its share of challenges back then. Could environmental factors or local issues have played a role or affected the investigation? Like maybe there were nearby residents who might have seen or heard something but felt unsafe coming forward at the time. It’s so sad to think that a little girl lost her life, and the community as a whole might have held missing pieces to the puzzle. If anyone out there lived in that area or has family who did, perhaps they remember something that could be of help. Thoughts and other perspectives would be appreciated.
I recently came across the tragic case of Heather Dean, and the details just hit me so hard. I keep wondering about the stairs where she was found. It’s haunting to think how an innocent child ended up there with such severe injuries. Does anyone have thoughts on whether the stairs played a significant role in what happened, or were they just the place she was found after the fact?
It’s been so long, and her family deserves answers. It’s chilling that this case is still unsolved, and the fact that she was only 18 months old makes it all the more gut-wrenching. It’s a reminder of how fragile life can be. I hope someone, somewhere, knows something that can finally help solve this and bring some peace to those who loved her. My heart truly goes out to Heather’s family—I can't even imagine their pain all these years.
