Has anyone else been digging into the details surrounding Washington's disappearance back in '98? I've been trying to piece together why he had both a blue tarp and a camouflage one with him when he left. It seems odd to take two tarps unless there was a specific purpose. Was he planning to camp out or hide something? Blue and camo would stand out in different settings — maybe one was for signaling for help if needed? If anyone in the area remembers seeing anything, especially those colors in the wilderness, it might be a crucial lead. Curious to hear if anyone has thoughts on why he would've needed both.

Hey everyone, I’ve been going over some details about the Washington case from back in '98, and something’s been on my mind. Why would he specifically take both a blue tarp and a camo tarp with him? The combination seems a bit odd, don’t you think? If he was planning on camping or setting up some kind of shelter, wouldn’t just one have been enough? I'm wondering if maybe he had a particular plan or destination in mind that would've required blending in with his surroundings at one point and then possibly needing to be more visible at another. Or could it be that he intended to meet up with someone else and the tarps had a specific purpose in that scenario? Curious to hear thoughts on what these tarps might've been for, and whether anyone else considers this an important clue?

Has anyone else been looking into the details of Washington's case? Something that's been sticking out to me is the choice of items he took with him. The blue tarp and the camo tarp specifically make me wonder. In a place like St. Michael, where the environment can be unpredictable, the tarps could have been for shelter if he was planning on being away longer than expected. But then, why two tarps and why one camo? Was he planning on hiding something or someone? It seems intentional to me. Curious to hear what others think about this and if there's any significance to his choice of tarps.
