Hey everyone,
I've been following Lemlem Gidey’s case and I can't stop thinking about how close-knit her community was. Being found in her apartment with no signs of forced entry makes me wonder if it was someone she knew or at least someone she wouldn't have been alarmed to see. It’s so upsetting to think that this person might have been part of her everyday life. Maybe it was a neighbor or a friend who had access to the building, which makes it even more chilling. If anyone lived in or around Bellwood Court back then, any memory about people coming and going could help! It's terrifying to think that someone could have been moving freely around there without raising suspicion. I really hope someone comes forward with new information to help Lemlem's family find the answers they deserve after all these years. Stay safe, everyone, and keep sharing anything you remember—it might just make a difference.
Did anyone else notice how Lemlem's case lacks any reports of disturbances from that early morning? It seems so quiet around the time of her murder. You'd expect people in an apartment complex to hear something—voices, a struggle, anything that could provide a lead. I find it really unsettling that no neighbors have come forward with information about hearing unusual noises. Was this an extremely stealthy crime, or maybe carried out by someone she knew well enough to trust and let in quietly? It's just so tragic to think about how this could happen with seemingly no disruption. My heart goes out to Lemlem’s family. I hope that those who might have overlooked something that night or know anything that might seem insignificant will come forward. Sometimes the smallest details can be the pieces needed to solve such a tragic puzzle. If anyone recalls anything from that time, please consider reaching out to authorities. Lemlem deserves justice, and her loved ones need answers.
