Has anyone come across any new info on Myung Ki Kim's case recently? It's puzzling that after so many years, there's still no sign of him. I know they've said the currents at Indian River Inlet are notoriously strong, but it seems like such a busy area. Someone must have seen something they didn’t realize was important at the time. Also, I've been thinking about how slippery those rocks are at the jetty, especially when they're wet. Could it be possible others have had similar incidents there? Maybe there’s an issue with how that area is maintained or marked for safety. I just feel for his family still left without answers. If anyone is local to the area, have there been any efforts to improve safety since his disappearance? Hope we can keep his story alive until there are answers.
I recently came across the case of Myung Ki Kim, the fisherman who went missing back in 2009 near Rehoboth Beach. It's so haunting to think about how quickly things can change while doing something as routine as fishing. I've been reading more about the Indian River Inlet area, and it seems like that spot is notorious for its treacherous waters and tricky currents.
I've been trying to figure out why this area is so hazardous. From what I've gathered, the combination of the jetty's slick rocks and the unpredictable waves make it especially risky. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced similar incidents at this location, or if there were safety warnings posted at the time. It makes me wonder if more could be done to prevent such tragedies. Anyone familiar with the conditions there or know if there have been efforts to improve safety measures since then?
