Has anyone looked into the possibility that Glenn's disappearance might be linked to something sinister? I've always been curious about his route and the potential for piracy or foul play, especially around that area in 2010. It's a long shot, but the shipping lanes could have brought him into contact with the wrong people. I'm not entirely convinced this was just a weather-related accident. Has anyone else considered alternate theories or have more insight into the safety conditions for solo sailors around the Bahamas and Florida back then?

Has anyone looked into the possibility of mechanical failure on Glenn's trawler, *Genesis*? Given the poor weather conditions reported at the time of his disappearance, it seems plausible that even minor issues could have escalated quickly. I'm curious if his family or investigators ever received info about any maintenance done on the boat before he left Nassau. Boats can be unpredictable, especially if they've faced wear and tear over the years. Maybe there are records or logs that were overlooked? Has anyone heard if this angle was explored in depth?

I recently read about Glenn Brandt's case, and I can't help but wonder about his trawler, *Genesis*. I know it was a 44-foot vessel, but does anyone have more info on the specific make or model? I’m curious if it had any history of mechanical issues or known vulnerabilities. It's such a mystery how both he and the boat vanished without a trace. With so many technological advancements in maritime tracking and search equipment, it makes you think how something like this can still happen. Could there have been a malfunction that made it impossible for him to signal for help? This whole situation gives me chills.
