I was going through some old local archives and stumbled upon an article from when Cameron Sequeira first went missing. Something that stood out to me was the mention of his dog returning home alone. It's always puzzled me how a dog could find its way back without its owner, especially since we're talking about a forested area. I wonder if the dog might have seen something or someone. Dogs can’t talk, but they can sense danger or try to lead people to a person they’re looking for. It makes you think, was Cameron trying to lead the dog away to keep it safe? Or maybe the opposite, and the dog tried to lead him back? It’s an element of the story that’s always intrigued me considering how loyal dogs are. Anyone have thoughts on this or similar cases where a pet plays a role in missing person investigations?
