Hey everyone, I’ve been following William Dixon’s case for a while now, and something that really stands out to me is the dedication of the community to try to help solve his murder. It’s been 20 long years, yet there’s this continued push from friends and neighbors to keep his memory alive and get justice for him. Every year, there seems to be some community effort, like candlelight vigils or social media campaigns, to remind others of his story and encourage those who might know something to speak up. It must be incredibly difficult for Dixon’s family and friends to continue this fight year after year, not knowing what happened or who is responsible. It shows a lot about the strength and resilience of those who loved him, that they never give up hope. I hope that with these renewed efforts, someone will finally step forward with the piece of information needed to solve this case and bring peace to all those still mourning his loss.

Today, I was reflecting on the community's role in William Dixon's case. It's been nearly two decades, and it's so important for us to keep talking about him. Staying silent only helps cover up the truth, and we owe it to William and his family to bring light where there's been darkness for far too long. One thing I often think about is, how well do we really know our own neighborhoods? Sometimes critical details can slip through the cracks because we aren't fully aware of our surroundings. It’s so vital for us to be vigilant and attentive. I'm hopeful that someone from the vicinity of northeast Columbus might remember something that seemed insignificant at the time but could now be the missing piece of the puzzle. It's hard knowing this is still unresolved and that there’s a family out there who hasn’t received the peace or justice they deserve. If you're reading this and you have any inkling of information or have heard something over the years, please reach out to the authorities. Rest in peace, William. We haven’t forgotten you.
