I came across the Steven W. Hendricks case recently, and I’m puzzled about the events leading up to the fire. If gasoline was used to start the fire, surely there would have been a strong smell or some signs before it was ignited. Did any neighbors report smelling gas or seeing any suspicious activity around the house on Oak Grove Road prior to the fire breaking out? Also, I’m curious if Steven had any known enemies or if there were people close to him or Rebecca who had a motive for such a horrific act. It's really odd that he just vanished without a trace. Hoping someone might have more insights or background on his and Rebecca's circle of friends.
I recently stumbled upon Steven W. Hendricks's case, and I can't stop thinking about that paycheck he left behind. Why wouldn't he pick it up if he planned to disappear? It’s not like someone who was running away would leave money behind. Also, it's odd that all his personal items were left at home. It's almost as if he intended to come back but never got the chance. The more I think about it, the more it makes me wonder what could have happened. Any thoughts on why he’d leave such crucial things behind? That paycheck is a particularly strange piece of the puzzle for me. Someone must have seen something or heard something—hoping one day we might get those answers.
I've been following Steven Hendricks' case for a while now, and the fact that his belongings were left behind still baffles me. If he had set the fire and disappeared intentionally, wouldn't he have taken at least his wallet or clothes? Also, the paycheck being unclaimed is really strange. Could this suggest he planned to come back? Or maybe someone wanted to make it look like he had vanished on his own accord. Considering the 2019 searches, it's hard to believe there's still no trace of him. I wonder if there was any rivalry or enemies that they haven’t looked into deeply yet. Anyone have thoughts on what could have happened to him in the days leading up to his disappearance?
