I came across an old article mentioning Mark Leese, who disappeared from Pt Reyes Station back in 1990. It's been over 30 years, and it seems like there's still so much mystery surrounding his case. What's really puzzling is that Mark just seemed to vanish without a trace, and nothing substantial has come up all these years. It's frustrating to see cases like this where there's so little information available. Has anyone from that area heard anything over the years, or is it pretty much the same cold case as it's always been? Even the smallest bit of info could be crucial, and it would be great if someone who knows something could come forward.

Does anyone else find it strange that there was hardly any media coverage about Mark Leese's disappearance back in 1990? I get that Pt Reyes Station is a small area, but you’d think a young man's vanishing act would stir up more attention. I've tried digging through some old online newspaper archives, but there's so little out there on Mark. It's as if he slipped through the cracks of the system, unnoticed. With so many cold cases, media exposure can make such a big difference. I hope someone out there remembers something or has some photos or personal stories that can bring more awareness. Every bit helps, right?

I was reading through some old missing persons cases and came across Mark Leese. It’s baffling how people can just vanish without a trace. I grew up near Pt Reyes Station and remember hearing about this when I was a kid. I find it strange that despite being listed in NamUs, Mark’s family never seemed to get any closure. Does anyone know if there was ever any organized search effort beyond the initial investigation? It seems the community would have been more involved given the small-town dynamics. Any locals here who remember anything unusual from back then? It's been years and yet it feels like people are still looking for pieces of a puzzle with way too many missing parts.
