Hey everyone, just came across Ebona's case from Juneau. Does anyone else find it strange that authorities found reports of his hat in the Gastineau Channel? Like, how reliable are these kinds of sightings typically? It makes me wonder if something could've happened on his way to Ketchikan. Also, considering his family says it's unusual for him not to reach out, this part of the story feels off. Has anyone come across similar cases where personal items are found but the person isn't? Would love to hear thoughts or see if there's a pattern in other missing person cases.
