Has anyone else found it odd about how Eric's car was neatly parked at the end of Steam Mill Road? It seems strange to me. If someone is planning to disappear or run off, would they really take the time to park so properly? It's almost as if he planned on coming back to it. I've gone camping in the Adirondacks, and that area is wildly dense. If he got lost, you'd think something would have turned up by now, right? Gear, clothing, even a campsite. This has really got me thinking about whether someone else might have been involved in this. Anyone else have thoughts on why the car was left like that?
Has anyone considered the possibility that Eric intended to meet someone in the Adirondacks? Given the location where his car was found, it seems unlikely he just got lost without a trace. If he was meeting someone, maybe it turned into foul play, or maybe he had an accident after arriving. I know it was supposed to be a solo camping trip, but I can't shake the feeling that someone else could be involved here. With no credible leads for so long, new perspectives might be the key to making progress. If anyone in the true crime community has additional insights or similar occurrences, I'd be interested to hear them!
