I recently came across Vicki Sue Lour's case, and something isn't sitting right with me. Has anyone else noticed how Steven Huffman's story keeps shifting? First, he says he checked her into rehab, then changes his tune to say she was going to do it herself. To me, that sounds like someone trying to cover their tracks. Why would you need multiple stories if you’re telling the truth?
Plus, the timeline is bothering me. There's a whole month between when she was last seen and when she was reported missing. That’s a long time for everything to go cold, and I wonder if that delay has something to do with Huffman’s inconsistent stories. I feel like more could have been done to trace her last known movements, especially looking into who last saw her and what state she was in.
Has anyone found similar cases where conflicting stories from a partner played a role? I just feel like there's more to uncover here that might point to something concrete. Thoughts?
Has anyone looked into this aspect of Vicki Sue Lour's case? I recently came across a mention that Steven Huffman, her boyfriend at that time, has a history of getting involved with people who have substance abuse issues. It makes me wonder whether this might have played a role in her disappearance. Could he have had some undue influence over her that's not being discussed? Considering there are conflicting stories about the rehab situation, maybe this isn't getting enough attention. What do you all think about the impact of his past relationships on this case? It's frustrating to see there's still no closure after all these years.
