Hey everyone, I've been following the Douglas Phillips case for a while, and something that's been on my mind is the shotgun that went missing with him. I find it curious that his love for the outdoors might play into this. Was he just out hunting or maybe something else? Could the missing shotgun suggest a planned outing that went wrong? It's unsettling that after all these years, there aren't more clues connected to it. If anyone has more insight into his hobbies or the last activities he was spotted doing, please share. It's frustrating that we have so little to go on. Let's keep discussing and see if there are any connections we've missed.

Has anyone taken a closer look at Douglas Phillips' interest in the outdoors? Considering he was known for that lifestyle, it seems plausible that he might have had a favorite spot or location he ventured to regularly, potentially away from the usual hiking trails. If his shotgun went missing with him, might he have taken it for hunting or something similar? Sometimes people have secret places they go to clear their head. I wonder if any lesser-known areas around Ballston Spa were searched thoroughly back then. The wilderness can be vast and unforgiving. Does anyone know if there were places he talked about enjoying? Or maybe a local who remembers anything specific? Thoughts?
