I've been following Nathan Ross Cross's case since initially hearing about it, and I've been pondering the role of bystander accounts. It must be incredibly frustrating for his family and friends, knowing that with so many people present during the shooting, someone out there could hold a critical piece of the puzzle. It's understandable that fear and intimidation can be significant barriers to coming forward, but the burden of truth is often lighter when shared. I really hope that anyone with even the smallest detail will find the courage to speak to the authorities. It’s gut-wrenching to think that the information needed to resolve this and grant some measure of peace might be out there, just waiting to be shared. Nathan and his loved ones deserve that much.
