Does anyone else find it odd how the entry into Dianne and Mayline's apartment was never fully explained? I mean, it's not like Quebec City is known for its high crime rates, especially back in the early '80s. I'm genuinely curious about how the attackers got in. Did they force their way in, or were they somehow let in by someone they knew or trusted? It's chilling to think that Dianne and Mayline might have been targeted specifically, possibly due to a connection they weren't even aware of. Mayline's recollection of that night must carry such weight, knowing she survived when Dianne didn't. My heart goes out to her and to Dianne's family. It's frustrating to think that these men could have had previous interactions with them. It makes me wonder if any leads were ever pursued in that direction or if anything was dismissed due to lack of concrete evidence. Hoping that with renewed interest or advancements in technology, we might one day find answers and bring justice to Dianne and some peace to Mayline. Stay safe, everyone.
