Did anyone else notice that the ShotSpotter technology played a crucial role in the initial police response to Donte Emanuel Hall’s shooting? It’s interesting how tech like this is being used to potentially speed up responses to gun violence, and it raises a lot of questions about effectiveness. Was this technology located near the scene already, or was it part of a larger initiative in Baltimore? I hope it can eventually contribute to solving this case because Donte and his family deserve closure. Gun violence is a scourge that affects so many, and it seems like every tool at our disposal should be used to help put a stop to it. Anyone else find themselves following the effectiveness of these tech solutions in other cases?
