I've been thinking a lot about the Faulkner case, and one thing that stands out to me is the lack of forced entry into their home. It makes me wonder if the person responsible was someone they knew on a more personal level, someone they trusted enough to let in willingly. Given that Vernon Clark was once employed by the Faulkners and had ties to other local victims, it's hard not to draw connections. But what if there was someone else in their circle who knew these details and exploited them? It could explain why the house was left untouched in terms of theft. My heart goes out to the family; living with such uncertainty must be incredibly difficult. When there are more questions than answers, closure seems far away.
