I can't stop thinking about what Bella went through that day and the immense courage it took for her to call 911 despite her injuries. It's unimaginable how a 13-year-old can find the strength to act in such a dire situation. I also can't help but think about the long road ahead for her recovery, not just physically but emotionally as well. Losing both her mother and brother in such a violent way, and witnessing it firsthand, is unfathomable. I truly hope the community rallies around her and offers the support she’ll need, not just now, but in the coming years. It will be crucial to have a network that helps her deal with both the trauma and the day-to-day challenges as life continues. If anyone knows of local efforts or organizations reaching out to help, it would be good to share that information here so we can see how to best support her. Bella’s bravery should never be forgotten, and I pray she finds some peace and healing after such a harrowing experience.
