I'm thinking about the impact on Antonio's family and how they're coping with such a huge loss. It’s hard to imagine the pain they must be feeling right now. I read some updates about the case, and I couldn’t help but reflect on how communities can be drawn together by tragedy. I hope they’re finding support amongst themselves and from those around them. I’ve been particularly interested in the role the local community played in this case. Many times, we see communities rally together to push for justice or support the families, and I hope that’s the case here. Antonio was so young, only 21—it's such a heavy loss. Does anyone here from Shreveport know if there are memorials or vigils being held in his honor? Sometimes those gatherings can be vital in providing some sense of closure or a way for everyone to collectively remember and honor the lost life. Sending warm thoughts to all affected by this senseless tragedy.
