I can't stop thinking about the atmosphere in Norfolk during that weekend. It sounds like it was a really tense time for everyone, especially with Mekhi's tragic death. I read that his family described him as a light in their lives, and it's just agonizing to think how that light was snuffed out so abruptly. I wonder how the community is coping with so much loss and fear, especially since there haven't been any arrests yet. I keep going back to the place where it all happened—Druid Circle. It's haunting to think about such violence in a neighborhood that people call home. Can anyone local share what the mood is like around there now? It's just hard to imagine how you move forward when something like this happens so close to where you live. I hope justice comes swiftly for Mekhi and that his family finds some peace in the midst of this nightmare.
