Just stumbled upon this incredibly tragic case of Willis Andrea Yates. I can't stop thinking about his family and what they’ve been through since that awful night in October 2011. Imagine losing someone you love so abruptly and then grappling with the uncertainty of not having answers for over a decade. It's haunting to think that this occurred in his own home, a place where you're supposed to feel safest. I know the Durham police are still looking for information, but sometimes I wonder if time passing is both a blessing and a curse. People might forget little details or, conversely, feel more comfortable coming forward now that years have gone by. Has anyone heard any updates on whether the reward has helped generate any new leads? It’s devastating that no suspects have been charged yet, and I really hope this isn't just another cold case that gets left behind. Keeping his family in my thoughts and hoping for some breakthrough soon. ?️
