I'm really feeling for Josiah Baptiste's loved ones and the New Haven community right now. It's chilling to think that someone was purposefully targeting him. While we wait for more information from law enforcement, I keep thinking about how the community often holds the key in these situations. So many cases get a breakthrough because someone finally decides to come forward with what they know. It's like pieces of a puzzle that need to be put together to see the full picture. I really hope someone who saw something that night, or has any info, picks up the phone and calls the tip line. Also, does anyone else get the sense that there might be underlying issues in the community causing these events? Sometimes, these incidents aren't isolated, and understanding the larger context might help in preventing future tragedies. Regardless, it's crucial for justice to be served for Josiah, and it starts with finding whoever did this. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time.
