I've been following the case of Muhammad Clyburn, and I can't help but think about his family and the immense pain they must be going through right now. Losing a loved one is never easy, but to have their life taken so violently and unexpectedly is truly devastating. I don't understand how there can still be so little information about what happened. Five murders in 48 hours is absolutely terrifying and surely someone must have seen or heard something. It's frustrating to hear about the ongoing struggle with gun violence in Charlotte—it's a reminder of how much work needs to be done to make our communities safer. I really hope more attention is brought to these cases and that the police get the support they need to solve them. It's critical that whoever is responsible for this is held accountable, not only for Muhammad but for all the people affected by this wave of violence. Sending thoughts to his family; they're in my heart and mind during this incredibly difficult time. If anyone reads this and knows anything, please consider speaking up. Every little bit helps.
