I can't stop thinking about how the community must be feeling after Gene Seim's tragic death. As an Air Force veteran, he served his country with honor, and it's just devastating to see his life end so violently, especially so close to home. I've been wondering about Gene's stepson, Trevin Beemer. It’s such a complex situation. On one hand, the allegations against him are incredibly serious and paint a disturbing picture. But then, there's mention of his struggles with mental health and medication. I can’t help but think about how mental health issues are often overlooked until it's too late. I hope the competency evaluation provides some clarity. It's crucial to understand the full picture of what happened here. Most importantly, my thoughts are with Gene's family and friends who are undoubtedly going through a difficult time. They deserve answers and justice, for Gene's memory and their healing journey.
