I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that something so terrible could happen in broad daylight, in front of Devin's own home. It makes you wonder how safe anyone really is. My heart goes out to Devin's family, especially his mom, India. No parent should ever have to experience the pain of losing a child, especially in such a senseless way. I'm glad the police were able to make an arrest so quickly—that's at least one step towards justice for Devin. But the thought that there might be more people involved just adds another layer of fear and confusion. I hope the community can come together to support Devin's family and to push for change. This kind of violence needs to stop, and it starts with us speaking out and keeping the conversation going. Devin deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.
