Hey everyone, I'm just so struck by how this entire tragedy has affected not just Kawanza's immediate family, but the whole community of Mound Bayou. I've been thinking a lot about how small towns rally together during these painful times, and it's both inspiring and heart-wrenching. Their collective grief is palpable. I can't stop thinking about the friends who were like family to him, the people who knew him as "Mojo." I read somewhere that he had a big smile and a generous spirit, always willing to help out or lend a hand to those in need. It's these small but meaningful details about someone's life that stick with you and make the loss even harder to process. I hope the community can find some peace somehow, and hold onto the positive memories of Kawanza as they navigate this difficult path towards justice and healing. Keeping everyone there in my thoughts. Stay safe, everyone.
