I can't stop thinking about the animals Jaden loved so much. It's always beyond tragic when a young life is taken so senselessly, but knowing how much he cared for animals makes it hit differently for me. I read that he used to volunteer at a local shelter on weekends and was always bringing home strays to nurse back to health. He had such a beautiful heart. I can't help but wonder if, in his memory, any efforts might be made to support animal welfare in Augusta. Maybe those of us who are heartbroken by this senseless act could come together to honor his legacy by supporting the local shelters or starting a foundation in his name. I hope his family and friends find some comfort in knowing how deeply he touched the lives of both people and animals alike. Sending out thoughts of strength and healing.
