I was reading through Felipe Reyes' case, and something about the circumstances bugs me. How does someone just vanish like that, with so little info about who he was supposed to be with? It seems odd that the reporting party didn't have any names or descriptions of who Reyes stayed behind with. Also, why did they return to Laredo alone without a clearer picture of the situation? I get if it was just friends hanging out, but you'd think there would be some kind of information or mutual acquaintances to provide leads. Has anyone else thought about this angle, or is there any insight into the circle of friends Reyes may have had in San Antonio around that time? It just seems like such a dead end, and any piece of the puzzle could make a difference.
