Hey all, I've been following the tragic case of Stephon "Herky" Peake, and my heart goes out to his daughters and loved ones. I can't stop thinking about the timing of this terrible event. Coming just days before his birthday, it must add an even deeper layer of grief for his family. I also find it disturbing that such a cold-blooded ambush happened so close to the police station—almost as if to make a statement. The fact that the gunman's accomplice might have been waiting in a getaway car suggests a high level of planning and confidence that just makes my skin crawl. Does anyone else think the timing and location could mean the killer wanted to send a message? Maybe there's more to this that we aren't seeing yet. Praying for justice for Herky and peace for his family during this devastating time. Take care, everyone.
