Substance abuse can certainly cloud judgment, amplify aggressive behavior, and escalate conflicts to tragic levels, as we’ve clearly seen. It’s alarming how it might not have been addressed earlier, considering the history of domestic turmoil and unreported incidents. My heart goes out to their daughter, who showed immense bravery by calling 911 amidst such a terrifying ordeal. I hope she receives the necessary support to process and heal from this traumatic experience. It’s deeply concerning to think about the long-term impact this might have on her, having witnessed such violence facilitated in part by alcohol. Has anyone else seen patterns like this in similar cases? It's crucial we address these underlying issues to prevent future tragedies.
