I've been following the case of Meharie Kidane, and something that's been on my mind is the potential role of surveillance footage in solving this crime. The Sun Stereo Warehouse is located in a busy area of downtown Fresno, and I can't shake the thought that there must be cameras nearby that could hold vital clues. Businesses in urban areas often have surveillance to deter crime or catch things just like this. Considering the tragic outcome, I'm hopeful that detectives are already looking into the possibility of obtaining footage from surrounding businesses. It could provide significant insight into who was there and maybe capture some crucial moments before or during the altercation. I imagine it must be terribly difficult for his family and friends to seek justice while grappling with their loss, but perhaps some footage could shed light on what truly happened that night. If anyone reading this knows any business owners in the area, it might be worthwhile to see if they've been in contact with the police. My heart goes out to Meharie's loved ones during this painful time. I truly hope justice is served swiftly.
