I just can't get over how right in our backyard we suddenly have this tragedy. I didn’t know David personally, but it’s crazy how you can pass someone on the street or at the grocery store and the next thing you know, they’re gone under such terrifying circumstances. What really gets me is thinking about the little things—maybe he had plans the next week, people he wanted to catch up with, things to look forward to—it’s all just snatched away in such a senseless act. I feel for his family and everyone in Caseyville who's trying to make sense of this right now. It’s a tight-knit place, and something like this shakes everyone up. I hope the authorities find the answers we need soon. Stay safe, everyone. ??
