Hey everyone, I’ve been following Da’j Dameka Flowers’ case, and something that's really been on my mind is the role her job might have played in all of this. Working for the Office of Emergency Management and Communications, she must have come into contact with a wide array of people—both in crisis situations and otherwise. I’m not saying her job definitely had anything to do with her tragic death, but I’m curious about whether investigators are looking into any connections there. In these kinds of jobs, sometimes you deal with intense situations, and unfortunately, it can make you a target to certain individuals. Did Da’j ever mention feeling uneasy at work, or are there any known cases of threats against staff? Surely, her coworkers or supervisors might have some insight into whether her professional life could have intersected with her personal safety. My thoughts are with her family, friends, and colleagues as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. It’s so troubling to think that someone who dedicated their career to helping others was taken in such a violent way. Let’s hope more pieces of this puzzle start coming together soon. Anyone else have thoughts on this angle?
