Hey folks, I've been diving deep into Kevin Hulse's case lately and something that's really struck me is the role that social media played in trying to find him. Back in 2008, social media wasn't quite what it is today, but his friends and family made some really savvy moves to get his story out there. It seems like they were pretty ahead of the curve, and I wonder how much different things might be now with the power of today’s platforms. It’s impressive that they were able to mobilize people so effectively at that time. The family seemed to understand the importance of keeping Kevin's face and name circulating, maybe pushing against the limits of what was possible back then. Does anyone else find it interesting how these early efforts might have paved the way for how missing person cases are handled in the digital age now? Also, if anyone has insight into the impact this had on the search efforts back then, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
