I can't stop thinking about the surveillance footage taken from inside the N.Y. Chicken Fish & Grill during that horrific night. It's chilling to imagine the chaos and fear that must've erupted when those shots started ringing out. Erica Sterling was just there, like any of us might have been—waiting to use the ATM or grab some food, just living her life. It's a stark reminder of how random and senseless acts of violence can impact innocent people going about their daily routines.
What really strikes me is how quickly everything happened and how brave the first responders were, jumping right into the danger to try and save lives. But it’s deeply unsettling, knowing the shooters still haven’t been apprehended. There must be someone out there with information—every little bit can make a difference.
