I’ve been following this case and can't stop thinking about the kids, especially the 12-year-old who had to run for help. Imagine the courage it took to push through the fear and make that desperate dash to the neighbors. That child saved a sibling's life with quick thinking and action. It’s a heavy burden for someone so young, acting in a moment they’ll likely replay in their mind for years. The support these children need from their community can't be overstated. Trauma like this doesn’t just disappear, and I hope they find healing in the care of their grandparents. Situations like this remind us how domestic violence touches every corner of a victim’s life—and beyond, affecting kids who shouldn’t have to face such horror. They’ll need all the love and support the community can offer to rebuild some sense of normalcy. My heart goes out to them entirely.

Hey everyone, I've been following the Crystal Kenney case closely, and my heart goes out to everyone involved, especially the kids who were caught in the middle of this tragic scene. I read that the argument that spiraled into this tragedy began over something seemingly trivial—a television and the end of a football game. It's just so baffling to me how a moment like that could escalate to such unimaginable violence. ? It got me thinking about how important it is to recognize the signs of conflict escalating, even from disagreements over everyday things. I wonder if anyone around the situation noticed any red flags with Jason Kenney’s behavior before that night? Sometimes, in hindsight, the signs are there, and it's just so gut-wrenching to think about what might have been different if intervention had come sooner. If anyone else is familiar with cases like this or has insights on conflict resolution in domestic situations, I'd love to hear your thoughts. No family should have to endure this kind of trauma. Sending all my thoughts to the Kenney family's loved ones and especially those kids who have faced more than any child should ever have to. ?
