Has anyone heard more about the welfare check that led to the discovery of Amanda Cheryl Thaxton Burrow and her husband on Baker Drive? I've been following the details coming out of Lafayette and can't stop thinking about how unexpected and tragic this is for their family and the community. It's particularly concerning because it sounds like there was no immediate history of problems or police interventions at their address. I wonder what prompted someone to request the welfare check in the first place. Was it a concerned friend or relative who noticed something was off? It's so important for us as a community to be vigilant and supportive of those around us. I hope Amanda's loved ones can find some solace in remembering the positive impact she had in their lives. If anyone has updates or insights, please share. It's crucial we lean on each other for understanding and support in times like these.
