I’ve been following the case of Bob Lee “Pop” Stanley, and I just can’t wrap my head around the loss for the family and the community. Knowing he was such a respected figure and co-owned a business with his grandson makes it even more tragic. It must be devastating for his family, especially having to navigate this nightmare while dealing with the loss of someone so dear. The community must be in shock as well, given how intertwined he was with everyone there. What caught my attention was the arrest of Freddie Ray Skeens. It makes one wonder how someone could possibly end up in such a tragic situation that results in a charge as serious as first-degree murder. I hope justice is served, whatever the outcome, but it’s such a difficult thing for all involved to face. Sending thoughts to all the families impacted by this. It's an unimaginable position to be in, and I truly hope they find the support they need in this trying time.
