Just came across the tragic case of Randy Stewart, the locksmith who was fatally shot during a service call in Oak Island. While we've heard a lot about the legal proceedings and the claims of self-defense from Brian Reed Grant, I can't help but think about Randy as a person and what he represented to those who knew him. Being the owner of Stewart Enterprises Locksmith Service, he must have been a trusted figure in the community, helping folks out with his locksmith services. I imagine he encountered people during their times of need, possibly assisting them when they were locked out or dealing with security concerns. It's unsettling to think his life ended while doing what he presumably loved and was skilled at. I'm curious if anyone here has insights into how the local community is coping or if there have been any gatherings to remember him. The fact that this happened during what should have been a routine service call makes it feel all the more poignant and senseless. My condolences to his family and friends. It must be an incredibly tough time.
