I keep coming back to the fact that there was a gathering at the driveway where this tragedy happened. It makes me think about the emotional state everyone must have been in just moments before the incident. Did anyone else notice the details around the timing and location? It’s a quiet street, and it seems like the neighbors didn’t even recognize a gunshot at first. I can't imagine the horror and confusion in that moment, especially for family members so close to Luis Mejia. My heart goes out to them, knowing they have to reconcile their memories of that night with a senseless act of violence that took someone they loved. Keeping in mind that this all unfolded in an instant, it's so hard to grasp how quickly everything changed. Really hoping the truth comes out in the investigation and provides some form of closure for his loved ones.
