Has anyone else been following the tragic case of D’Corby Benning? I can’t stop thinking about the community’s reaction and how quickly they organized that memorial for him. It truly shows that despite such senseless acts of violence, people have an amazing ability to come together in support. I read that family and friends were from all over Thomson, uniting not just to remember D’Corby, but to stand against the violence that took his life. The strength and love displayed in response to such a loss is deeply moving. Also, has anyone heard how Ja’Marcia Hampton is doing? I hope she’s on the road to recovery and receiving the support she needs.
