Hey everyone, I've been digging through old missing person cases and came across Victor Credland's story from 1974. Something that's been bugging me is the car he was driving. It's a green 1965 Ford with Michigan plates BKT819. Has anyone seen cases where a vehicle vanishes as completely as the person? I feel like checking out old junkyards or following up on stolen parts sales from that era might be a lead. I know it's a long shot considering how much time has passed, but cars don't just disappear without a trace, right? Would love to hear any ideas on whether it's worth looking into or if there are similar cases where the vehicle turned up years later.
Hey everyone, I've been digging into Victor Credland's case lately, and I noticed something intriguing about his green 1965 Ford. Given the nature of his disappearance, it seems odd that neither Victor nor the vehicle has ever been spotted. Does anyone here know if there were any efforts around that time to track missing vehicles through VIN numbers or similar methods? I'm wondering if the car might have been scrapped or resold under a different identity. Also, could it be possible for a vehicle like that to just vanish without a trace? Any insights from folks with auto industry knowledge or similar cases would be greatly appreciated!
