I’ve been thinking a lot about Rose Manfredi and the void her loss must have left for her family and friends. Being killed the day before her 49th birthday is such a tragic detail that makes this senseless act of violence hit even harder. I can’t imagine how her loved ones felt having to plan a memorial instead of celebrating another year of her life. Neighbors described her as vibrant and youthful, which tells me she was someone who brought a lot of light into the world. Hopefully, in time, her family has found peace and comfort in the memories they shared with her. It’s just devastating that her life was cut short in such a brutal way by someone she must have crossed paths with daily at work. How could anyone justify this kind of violence?
