I’ve been following Larry Wayne Perry's case for a while, and something that's always puzzled me is the timeline and geography involved. The witnesses mentioned Larry was seen running after Michael Carl George's vehicle on a dirt road near his home around 8 p.m. It’s a small detail, but I wonder just how familiar Larry was with George. Was it common for local kids to approach people they knew in vehicles? It seems unusual for an 8-year-old to run after someone on a four-wheeler unless there was some level of trust or curiosity. Also, considering Dumfries isn't a huge town, did anyone else see this interaction or notice anything off about George earlier in the day? It feels like someone else might have seen or heard something that could offer more context. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I came across the case of Larry Wayne Perry recently, and something that stood out to me was the timeline of events on the evening he disappeared. Does anyone know how a young child, just 8 years old, was able to be out so late by himself back in 1979? I know times were different, but it seems strange to me that he was playing outside at 8:00 p.m. without any adult supervision, especially when it started to get dark. Could this have played a role, or am I overthinking it? Also, the fact that Michael Carl George claimed they were target shooting seems odd given his age. Just wondering if anyone else finds this aspect of the story unsettling or can clarify if that was a common activity for kids around back then. ?

Hey everyone, I've been following Larry Wayne Perry's case for a while now, and something just doesn't sit right with me about George's confession. If Larry accidentally shot himself while target shooting, wouldn't there be more evidence left behind? I get that George led them to a supposed burial site, but it's strange that no remains were ever found. I'm not ruling out that something did happen in that ravine, but it's weird how everything just seemingly disappeared. Plus, given George’s later crimes, it's hard not to suspect he might have been lying about what really happened to Larry. Just wondering if anyone else has looked into any other theories about what might've really taken place that evening. Thoughts?
