It's chilling to imagine the anxiety of living with the constant threat of an intruder, not knowing who might be next. I read that many residents started implementing their own safety measures, like forming neighborhood watch groups and investing in additional security. This goes to show the strength and resilience of the community in response to such terror. It’s small comfort, but I hope the eventual arrest and conviction of Lyndon Fitzgerald Pace brought some sense of relief or justice for Annie's family and the families of other victims. It's a tragic chapter in Atlanta's history, and my heart goes out to all those affected by these crimes, even decades later.
