Hey everyone, I recently stumbled upon Richard Atwood’s case from White Cloud, Michigan, which resurfaced a few years back. Something that fascinates me is how the Pontiac Trans Am ended up in Grand Rapids. It's about 60 miles from his home, right? Makes me wonder, did the car get driven there intentionally to throw off investigators, or was it just abandoned in a hurry? Also, the broken shovel found inside is another puzzle piece. Could it have belonged to Snell, and was it possibly used much earlier before ending up in the car? Although Snell’s conviction might bring some justice, I can’t stop thinking there's still so much more to untangle here. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this part of the mystery!

Has anyone else noticed how it's always the tiniest details that end up breaking a case wide open? Thinking about the cigarette butts found in Richard Atwood's car that had Snell's DNA on them. It's wild to think that something so small could have such huge implications. Goes to show how important it is to comb through every little bit of evidence, no matter how inconsequential it seems at first. Kind of makes you wonder about all the other cold cases out there and the potential evidence that might be hidden in plain sight. Any chance there's more to find in Atwood's case, something overlooked even now?
