I've been following this case closely, and it just breaks my heart to think about Charity Freeman’s kids. She's described as such a caring person, especially with her work in hospice care. It’s clear she was someone who spent her life helping others, and it's devastating that her own life ended in such a violent way. The community seems really shaken, understandably so. I’ve been wondering about the escalation with Rivera-Perez. From what I’ve heard, Charity tried to rebuild her life after ending that relationship. I just wish there had been more support or resources available to help protect her when she needed it the most. As someone who's seen how hard it is for people to escape with their children from such situations, it hits close to home. It's good to see her family rallying around the kids now, but I can't even begin to imagine what they’re going through.

I can hardly wrap my head around this terrible situation with Charity Freeman. I didn't know her personally, but it's clear from everything I've read that she was such a selfless and caring person, deeply committed to her work and her children. Her life being cut short in such a violent way is just devastating. I'm also really troubled by how this illustrates the dangers of abusive relationships. It's terrifying to think about how someone can be pushed to such a horrific act after a relationship ends. I hope more people can become aware of the signs and take steps to protect themselves. My heart goes out to Charity's family, especially her young children. I hope there's a network of support rallying around them during this difficult time.
