The news about Darell has been so upsetting, especially when you see how it affected everyone who was close to him. It's clear he was not just loved but admired by many for his dreams and ambitions, especially his goal of attending Voc-Tech School for welding. Where do we draw the line between trust and caution, especially when the person responsible was someone he trusted? It raises so many questions about the company we keep and how fragile trust can be. This young man had a bright future, and the thought of how his life was cut short is haunting. Darell's family and friends will need all the support they can get, not just for funeral expenses, but in their journey toward healing.
