I've been following the tragic case of Colencia Davidson, and I can't stop thinking about the effect this has had on her children. It's such a devastating situation for them to have been so close to such a traumatic event. I hope they are getting the support they need right now. It also breaks my heart to think about the role domestic violence played in this tragedy. It makes me wonder how many others might be going through similar situations in silence. We need to make it easier for victims to speak up and get the help they need sooner. My thoughts are with Colencia's family and friends during this difficult time. Stay strong, everyone.
