Has anyone else been following the Jalen Tyrone Baker case? It's just devastating to think about how someone so young, with his whole future ahead of him, could be lost to such senseless violence. I read somewhere that Jalen was really into music and basketball, passions his friends and family said defined him. It breaks my heart to imagine what his family must be going through, especially around the holidays. What really gets to me is the betrayal involved here. I can’t wrap my head around how people can manipulate relationships for such dark purposes. In this case, it’s shocking to learn about Kennedy Forrest allegedly being part of the plot. It must be incredibly painful for Jalen's family to realize that someone pretended to care about him just to set him up. The layers of this tragedy are just mind-boggling. I hope justice is served, and quickly. It’s so important for Jalen’s family and friends to find some closure so they can begin the painful journey of healing. If anyone has any more details on how the trial is progressing or any new developments, I’m all ears. Sending all my prayers and love to everyone who loved Jalen.
